Mock meet on Tuesday, June 8 is open

Hello Barracuda parents!

Next Tuesday we will have a Mock Meet vs. Charleston Village.  This meet will be virtual and will give us a chance to practice a bunch of things in and out of the water.

We have our new website that comes with some new team management tools including declaring whether or not your swimmers are available for a meet and also volunteer job signups.   When you login to our website ( https://www.brookstonebarracudas.com/ ) you should see events on the right side.  We now have our mock meet listed with the rest of the season to come shortly.  There are 2 green buttons, one for MEET ENTRY where you declare your swimmers and the other for JOB SIGNUP.

Please be sure declare your swimmers in or out for meets as our coaches will then use this system to set events, heats and relays.  Also be sure to signup to volunteer as swim meets don't run themselves!  Don't worry if you don't know how to do a particular job, we have plenty of experienced parents to help train and that's what the mock meet is for.

If you still haven't created you account/password, please do so.  If you ever forget your password, there may be a self service reset or let a board member know and we can do a reset for you.

The website is also a place where you can see your swimmers times, meets scores, etc.. throughout the season.

There is also a SwimTopia mobile app that you can install that allows you to perform website tasks from your phone.  I think you can also subscribe for a fee to have live scoring during meets.

That's all for now,

Brad Perry, Brookstone Barracuda TSA Co-rep
