Good morning Barracuda families!

Best of luck to all of the swimmers participating in the Cary City Meet today! It's a great time to showcase our Brookstone talent and spirit and I know all of our swimmers will be successful in their respective races.

Looking ahead to the next few years, a few of us on the board with older swimmers are looking to move on from our positions to allow the opportunity for a new group of parents to contribute to the team.  Next season will by my last year as President.  Joshua Foster will be shadowing me and then taking over for the 2025 season.  

The following swim board positions will also be open.  Any interested parents will shadow the current board member for the 2024 season with plans to take over fully for 2025.

• Volunteer Coordinator - currently Alexis Henry
• Head of Concessions - currently Adele West
• Sponsor Coordinator - currently Tracy Slavis

If any of these positions are of interest to you, please reach out to the current board member to discuss.  I would like to have our shadows in place soon so we can hit the ground running all together next season.  Being able to participate in something that is so important to our kids and brings such joy is invaluable so I invite everyone to consider this opportunity.
